Danielle Guevara

Hi there! I’m Danielle (she/her), a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who is passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and compassionate space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered in their growth.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in Attachment Theory and draws from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-informed), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT-informed), and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP Level 1). I work collaboratively with clients to explore their experiences, strengthen relationships, build coping skills, and create meaningful change aligned with their values and goals.

I am proud to work with individuals across the lifespan and from diverse cultural backgrounds, and I am committed to providing an affirming and welcoming space for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals. I offer services in English, French, and Spanish, and strive to make therapy accessible, respectful, and responsive to each client’s unique needs.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent more than five years working in child welfare, as well as in the fields of gender-based and family violence. These experiences have shaped my trauma-informed, relational approach and strengthened my commitment to helping clients feel safe, understood, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.

Outside of the therapy room, I love to spend time baking, reading, travelling, and spending time on adventures with my Australian Shepherd, Franklin. My never-ending curiosity about people, places, and stories fuel and inspire the openness, authenticity, and compassion I bring to my work with clients.
